Sure the Web is a great resource for news, information, tips/tricks, software, etc, etc. for Macintosh users. After all the MacOS is the platform of choice for creating Web content, but if you are not also making use of the Usenet, then you are missing out on one of the best resources available to Macintosh users.
The Usenet, aka Internet Discussion Groups, is made up of users like you and me who share ideas and information on a variety of topics. This type of exchange not only helps you get answers to your questions, but also helps to build the sense of community that Mac users share with each other. This sense of community is often cited as one of the main things that makes the Macintosh and Mac users different.
Mac Related Discussion Groups Directory: Here I have listed all the Mac related newsgroups that I could find. I'm sure you'll find at least one that fits your interests and needs. If I have missed any, please feel free to let me know
A Note on Newsreaders: To access the Usenet you need to use either a newsreader application or a special browser interface. Here are my thoughts on both of these solutions.
